Music Inspired Pieces ‘24-’25

Music is one of the biggest influences on my artwork. A large proportion of my current artwork is based on artists, albums and their lyrics, my favourite genres typically being R&B, rap, house and sometimes indie. My top artists from 2024 being Jorja Smith, Drake, Fred Again and Kanye West. From as young as I can remember, music has always been a huge part of my life, and has been an escape during some of my toughest moments. Blasting music in my car on drives and whilst painting in my studio has become free therapy. Having such a broad music taste allows me to take inspiration from not only the music I listen to at home but the music I have had the opportunity to listen to live. Over the last two years, my best memories have been made at festivals listening to some of my favourite artists with my favourite people. For 2025, I am dedicating my time to producing as much art as possible inspired by my most listened to artists.
